Fenestrate Press is, individually or sometimes all at once, the following:

• A reaction to the horrors of 2025 and beyond;
• An attempt to share information across social groups, now that the the largest social networks have openly been acquired by white supremacists and their lackies, and the Internet Dark Forest[1]Internet Dark Forest has killed much of the potential for future global-scale social networks, replacing them instead with the smaller Cozy Web[2]Cozy Web spaces;
• A place to incubate writers of interest to nice, fairly leftist people;
• A result of thinking too hard about the 1700s culture of anonymous leaflets[3]the 1700s culture of anonymous leaflets and realizing “wait… everyone owns printers now, why do we not do that anymore?”
• Other motivations, often without warning.

We publish original works as well as republishing things that haven’t gotten read as well as they should have in their original media. We’re using the Ishill Stack[4]the Ishill Stack to make everything trivially available both on the web and in printable media, and we encourage reprints of our publications by anyone who feels driven to do so; most things will be formatted for US letter-sized paper, but one could change some of the theme files to trigger outputs in any preferred size.
